Forrest wasted no time taking control, scoring on the very first play from scrimmage and racing to a two-touchdown lead in the opening three minutes on the way to a convincing 45-7 victory over Huntland.

Quincy Mitchell provided the immediate spark, breaking loose for a 49-yard touchdown run just 17 seconds into the game. Micah Morgan added a 2-yard touchdown run less than three minutes later as the Rockets jumped in front 14-0.

Forrest continued to pull away in the second quarter. Morgan connected with Jon Hightower for a touchdown pass, Mitchell added a 6-yard scoring run, and Isai Garcia drilled a 39-yard field goal as the Rockets carried a commanding 31-0 lead into halftime.

Huntland got on the board in the third quarter on a 1-yard touchdown run by Parker Schultz, but Forrest answered when Morgan raced 39 yards for a touchdown. Teagan Warner capped the scoring with a 76-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

The Rockets finished with 326 yards of total offense on only 26 plays, averaging an impressive 12.5 yards per play. Forrest rushed for 220 yards on just 12 attempts, an average of 18.3 yards per carry, and added 106 yards through the air.

Forrest's rushing attack was explosive throughout the night. Teagan Warner finished with 76 yards and a touchdown on his lone carry, an electrifying 76-yard scoring run. Micah Morgan rushed six times for 73 yards and two touchdowns, while Quincy Mitchell added 71 yards and two scores on five carries.

Morgan completed 8 of 14 passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns. Jon Hightower caught two passes for 39 yards and a touchdown, while Jacob Tincher had three receptions for 36 yards and a score. Isaac Cruse caught one pass for 19 yards, Braden Bourne added an 11-yard reception and Isiah Garcia had one catch for one yard.

For the second straight week, the Forrest defense was outstanding. Huntland ran 51 offensive plays but managed only 140 total yards, including 110 rushing and just 30 passing. The Rockets allowed only one touchdown and kept Huntland off the scoreboard until the third quarter.

Forrest's ability to strike quickly was evident from the opening snap. The Rockets scored twice in the game's first three minutes and combined an explosive offense with another dominant defensive effort in the 45-7 victory.
